This quote is for illustrative purposes only; and is based on the property being freehold.

If it transpires that the property is in fact leasehold and we were unaware of that at the time of instruction, there will be an additional charge of £200 plus VAT for dealing with the lease.

Leasehold properties have certain disbursements which are set out in the individual lease relating to the property. The list is not exhaustive and other disbursements may apply depending on the term of the lease.

Land Registry Fees are occasionally subject to change and may be different from the quote and we won’t be aware of the change until the transaction starts and paperwork is issued but will keep you updated if changes occur.

We will always keep you informed and updated once we have received and reviewed the lease.

*Anticipated disbursements are: Notice of Transfer Fee, Notice of Charge Fee (if the property is mortgaged), Deed of Covenant Fee, and Certificate of Compliance Fee. These can vary from property to property.
