Chafes Employ

Flexible support for peak performance

Chafes Employ is a flexible service that provides your business with the support you need, when you need it.

There is no monthly charge for becoming a Chafes Employ member and you are not tied to a minimum contract. You only pay for the services you use, when you use them. However you can only take advantage of our special rates by becoming a member*.

When you join Chafes Employ, we will carry out a free preliminary employment law health check on your business to ensure you are compliant with all current employment legislation. We will review existing contracts of employment and any HR policies and procedures, making recommendations where necessary.

Chafes Employ

Rates just for you

As a member of Chafes Employ, you will receive preferential rates for many of our services including:

  • Drafting new standard contracts of employment – £300 + VAT per contract
  • Drafting new company policies or procedures – £100 + VAT per policy/procedure
  • One hour of general advice – £100 + VAT per month (charged only if used)

You can also have peace of mind with our fixed fee options for defending employment tribunal claims or undertaking other project work.

HR Mentor

There may be times when you need practical HR support rather than employment law advice. This could be discussing a HR process, conducting a disciplinary or sourcing an external trainer.

Our HR Mentor service will give you access to Caroline Calverley, our HR expert at Chafes Hague Lambert Solicitors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Caroline has extensive experience of managing people in firms large and small in professional services, manufacturing and retail. Through her network of contacts, she has access to a wide variety of information reference points, trainers and resources that will help your organisation improve its people management and development.

You can include the HR Mentor service as part of Chafes Employ for just £75 + VAT per annum. For more information or to see how we can help you, contact our employment law specialist Alison Close on 01625 531676.
