Specialist areas:
- Probate and Administration of Estates
- Will drafting
- Enduring/Lasting Powers of Attorney
About me:
I am a Paralegal in our Tax, Trusts & Estates Department.
I completed my LLB Law Degree in 2007 and my Legal Practice Course in 2008 at the University of Central Lancashire.
After spending several years raising my three children at home I joined Chafes Hague Lambert as an Archivist back in 2017 and, last year, was promoted to the position of Paralegal in the Tax Trusts and Estates team.
I now help people with Lasting Powers of Attorney applications, drafting client’s Wills to best suit their circumstances and helping to obtain a Grant of Probate or deal with a full Estate Administration when a person has passed away.
I feel the most job satisfaction when I can come alongside grieving families or individuals and help lessen the burdens on them in relation to sorting through their loved ones affairs.
When I’m not at work:
In my spare time enjoy singing, long walks with my family, indoor rock climbing and kickboxing.
I am also a Trainee Ringer for the British Trust for Ornithology which I enjoy doing with my eldest daughter.
My top tip:
Be organised.
