My role is to ensure that as a firm we comply with the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Code of Conduct. This means making sure that we have procedures in place that allow our staff to deliver the highest levels of service to our clients, taking into account their individual needs and circumstances.
As risk manager, I focus on supporting staff and making sure that they receive regular training to enable them to understand and comply with regulatory changes as and when they occur. This in turn means that our clients receive up-to-date advice and guidance
As a firm we have the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme Accreditation as well as the Family Law Accreditation. Both of these are achieved by demonstrating that we reach the levels set by the Law Society and deliver a high quality service to our clients. They need to be applied for on an annual basis and part of my role is to work with the staff to maintain these standards.
