Probate and Estate Admin
Chartered Legal Executive
- Probate Administration
- Trust Administration
I bring a sensitive, supportive and down-to-earth approach to guiding clients through difficult times, following bereavement and through the process of administering their loved one’s estates.
After working for 20 years in the Civil Service where my various duties included presentation at Local Tribunals, I embarked on a second career in Law and trained and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives with Hague Lambert in 2004. My background includes dispute resolution and all aspects of family law, and whilst no longer practising in those areas, I am alert where those issues arise and which are relevant to estate and trust administration upon which I have focused since 2008.
My aim is always geared towards a practical and strategic solution so as to achieve the best possible outcome for the client in terms of cost and speed.
- Handled the administration of various multi-million pound estates involving a variety of issues e.g. utilising tax reliefs such as agricultural and business property reliefs to their full extent, successfully reducing inheritance tax liability by identifying payments made out of income, and dealing with overseas assets
- Identifying potential tax savings by way of post-death variations and the manner in which assets are managed

My top tip is help your loved ones by ensuring they will easily be able to access and identify your assets
