About me

It can be daunting to think about what you would like to happen to your assets on death, or to plan for a time when personal circumstances mean you are unable to manage your own affairs, but I would encourage everyone to do this to avoid potential problems later in life.

I work with clients to help them understand this complex area of law and devise bespoke solutions to plan for their future and the future of their loved ones. I also advise them on capacity issues, helping them put in place provision that will ease the burden on their family and friends should the unexpected ever happen.

Key cases:

  • Successfully applied to vary a court order so that my clients could secure funds that were essential in providing bespoke care for their mentally incapacitated relative.
  • By utilising a Discretionary Will Trust, I protected a potential beneficiary’s prospective inheritance from his divorcing spouse.
  • Created a bespoke Power of Attorney which enabled my client to grant her relative authority to make decisions about her Greek property whilst she resided in the UK.
