I am a Partner and part of the Conveyancing Department
I trained and qualified at Hague Lambert as a solicitor in 1981 and became a partner in 1983. I have specialised in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing with over 30 years’ experience in dealing with a wide range of property matters.
During my career, I have developed particular skills in dealing with a wide range of property transactions. As well as standard sale and purchase transactions, transfers, re-mortgages, title rectification and plot purchases, I have expertise in commercial property including business transactions and the sale, purchase and lease of shops and restaurants. I act for individuals and company clients both locally and nationally.
I have worked in Cheshire for the whole of my legal career and often receive recommendations from local estate agents. I have built strong relationships with clients who have used me for numerous transactions over the years. One reason I feel this is partly because of , is that I am able to identify potential problems for clients.
- I have acted in many large value transactions in residential cases in excess of £2m
- As well as individuals and companies, my clients consist of religious orders and charities

My top tip
is always remember that moving house is stressful but we are here to make the move as stress free as possible. Cheapest doesn’t necessarily mean best value; be wary of hidden costs, disbursements and VAT. Communication is key: We’ve all heard about location, location, location. Well, what about communication? It’s a two way street. Sure, your lawyer needs to communicate with you – but you need to communicate with them too.
