Marie Curie Daffodil lunch raises over £2000

This years Marie Curie Daffodil lunch, which is sponsored by Chafes Hague Lambert Solicitors, has been another great event and raised over £2000.

Held at the Deanwater Hotel in Woodford the money raised from the lunch will help support local Marie Curie nurses, who provide nursing care to terminally ill patients in their own homes 24 hours a day.

Chafes Hague Lambert are also proud to sponsor the Marie Curie Volunteer of the Year Award 2016. It was presented by Caroline Calverley, Chafes Hague Lambert Practice Manager to Linda Nelson, a Marie Curie volunteer from Northwich, for the way she always goes above and beyond in her work for Marie Curie and her fundraising efforts over the past twelve months.

Caroline said: “The lunch was a huge success in raising money and awareness for the important work Marie Curie supports. Chafes Hague Lambert is proud to sponsor an event which helps such an essential cause. It was also brilliant to present Volunteer of the Year to Linda, who was more than deserving of the award.”
