Helping Knutsford Scouts reach the World Scout Jamboree in Japan

Next week five lucky Scouts from Knutsford will be making their way over to Japan for the 22nd World Scout Jamboree. Each scout had to raise £3,400 over the last two years to enable  them to attend the event and we are delighted that our donation has helped them achieve their target.

They will be joining 40,000 Explorer Scouts from 147 different countries for the event. While there they will learn about global issues such as health and human rights, explore nature and try out a range of traditional water sports as well as visit Hiroshima. They will also get to experience working with the local people and learn more about their culture.
